Over the years I have accumulated so much trauma, each bag of sorrow carefully secured on my pack. You try to loosen the restraints that secure the load, but I tighten them, clinging tightly to this burden.

Praise God for his faithfulness, for being true to his word, for not giving up on us. God you are faithful and true.

What I could not see was what you were doing in the midst of my struggle, my pain. Slowly, you moved the mountain like a slow-moving glacier.

May I feel your renewal, your hope, replace my fears. I humbly bow before you this day to thank you for the love and grace you have shown to me. All praise to you dear Lord, the living God. All praise to your son Jesus.
