Prayer Journey — Who Am I?

Who am I next to you dear God? You are the creator God of all things from the smallest insect to the universe. You are infinite while my life here is finite. You are unchanging in an ever changing world. You know everything about me, yet I cannot begin to comprehend everything about you. You are ever present in my life even when I ignore you. My wisdom is lacking, yet your wisdom lacks nothing in its perfection. You are faithful even when I am not. You show me mercy when I don’t deserve it. Your love for me is abundant, even though at times I doubt it. Who am I next to you dear God? All you ask is that I believe in your son Jesus; that I follow his ways with all my heart; that makes me your child, a child of God.

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. – John 1:12 (NASB)

But what does it say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. – Romans 10:8-10

    1. That’s a great verse. Indeed, how precious are God’s thoughts, how vast! May God strengthen you this day. Blessings.
