You are my strength dear God. You are my rock. Without you, I am feeble, weak, beaten down, but you lift me up. You strengthen me when I am weak. You tell me there is purpose in the burdens I face, the challenges I meet. You use them to build resilience in me. It is reassuring to know you are training me in your ways for life. You believe in me even when the world sees me as weak and of no use. You trust in me.
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves; we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed. – 2 Corinthians 4:7-9, NASB
