It is good to give thanks to the LORD And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning And Your faithfulness by night, With the ten-stringed lute and with the harp, With resounding music upon the lyre. For You, O LORD, have made me glad by what You have done, I will sing for joy at the works of Your hands. – Psalm 92:1-4 (NASB)

Is that your harp in the picture? It looks just like mine, except for the red and blue levers. I love to worship with the harp (and pretend I’m David. 😉 )

That is my wife’s harp. I love the sound of the harp. It creates such a soothing sound — which makes me think of how David soothed Saul with it. Blessings.
Beautiful instrument!
The sound of a harp is beautiful as well. Blessings.
I believe Sally, from Theology of a Newfoundland Housewife quoted Augustine yesterday: “He who sings prays twice.” I wonder if young David’s harp looked like the one in your picture?
🙏❤️ Prayers and love.
I have not heard that Augustine quote. Thanks for sharing. I’ve often wondered what David’s harp sounded like when he played it. It must have been soothing to those who heard it. Blessings.
Amen.
Praise God! Blessings.
I love beginning each day praising God and thanking him for his love.
Perfect way to start the day. Praise God! Blessings.
And to you!
