Empty Yet Full

For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. – Psalm 139:13-14

I am empty inside. Emotionally drained. Ripped apart. Shattered. How can I pull the pieces together? I am in need. Yet I know you formed me. “You wove me in my mother’s womb.” Your hands took the fragments and wove me together. Your very fingers shaped me. Your touch created me. Each thread carefully entwined to create a unique pattern. Your hand gently touches my life. Fill my emptiness with your joy dear Lord. Help me find contentment. May I be satisfied — filled to overflowing with your love.

  1. Amen! I know the feeling all too well. But God is good! He supplies all that we need when we need it when we call on him in truth. Praying for you for your comfort and for your strength.

  2. “Cast on Jehovah that which He hath given thee, and He doth sustain thee. He doth not suffer forever the moving of the righteous.” Psalm 55:22 (Young’s Literal Translation)
