Quenching an Unquenchable Thirst

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst. – John 6:35

There is a deep hunger inside that the world cannot satisfy. There is a deep thirst that the world cannot satisfy. Food only fills the stomach for a moment; water only quenches thirst for a moment. Hunger and thirst continue to return. We hunger for justice, but sin delivers injustice. We thirst for peace yet sin floods the world with chaos. Nothing on this earth can satisfy like the bread of life that Jesus offers us — eternal peace that satisfies our inner hunger. He offers living water to forever refresh the deep thirst we feel inside. Our hunger and thirst for something better points us to Christ Jesus. Believe in Him and know the satisfaction, the contentment Jesus can give you.
