Shout joyfully to God, all the earth; Sing the glory of His name; Make His praise glorious. – Psalm 66:1 (NASB)

  1. This could be intimidating for those of us who don’t exactly have “glorious” singing voices, but I’m thinking God’s idea of glorious has more to do with how much we love Him. ❤️😉

PS Riddle/trick question: “What is the first line of Psalm one hundred and sixty-six?”
    (“There are only 150 Psalms…”)
Psalm 100 and Psalm 66 have the same first line. (For the smart-alecs that like to try and stump the Sunday school teacher😏)

    1. When we love God with our heart soul and mind, I think our worship sounds like beautiful music to Him. 😊

I did a quick search of the phrase “shout joyful” in the NASB Bible and it’s interesting to see all the ways we are encouraged to “shout joyfully”. Here are a couple examples:

“Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation.” – Psalm 95:1
“Break forth, shout joyfully together…” – Isaiah 52:9

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for the Bible trivia. Blessings.
