New Birth, New Story

When they had seen this, they made known the statement which had been told them about this Child. And all who heard it wondered at the things which were told them by the shepherds (Luke 2:17-18, NASB).

Jesus is there, waiting for you. A tiny, innocent baby. Not intimidating, but in a humble manger gazing back at you with loving eyes that seek your love. It is just as you were told. The joy inside of you is immense; too much to keep inside you. Good news is meant to be shared with others.

The shepherds went back, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, just as had been told them (Luke 2:20).

Praise God for the truth that has been proclaimed to you: “For today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord (Luke 2:11).” May today be the day new life is born within you; the day you know the depth of God’s love for you; that salvation is yours through Jesus. May we share this Good News of new life.

Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” – John 3:3
