This morning I praise you dear Lord for joy. I think of the lowly shepherds who hurried to seek you, who were excited to see you. Jesus, I think of the joy they must have felt gazing into your eyes. I praise you Jesus that same joy is available to us today. In the midst of a troubled world, you look into our eyes and offer us the same joy as the shepherds. May we continue to seek you Jesus. May we answer your call to be in our lives.
Zaccheus was trying to see who Jesus was, and was unable because of the crowd, for he was small in stature. So he ran on ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree in order to see Him, for He was about to pass through that way. When Jesus came to the place, He looked up and said to him, “Zaccheus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” – Luke 19:3-5
