Prayer Journal—Closer to Jesus

Help me dear Jesus to discern your truth each day. Direct me to the path you want me to take. Help me to defeat the traps set by the evil one and the effort to divert me away from you dear God. Fill me with the knowledge of your will, your spiritual wisdom and understanding. Show me how to grow deeper in my love for you, a deeper intimacy with you, a strong desire to pursue you. Fill me with your grace and love so that it will overflow into the lives of others I meet today. 

For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. – Collosians 1:9, NASB
