Just a Touch

Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd. – Matthew 9:36, NASB

There’s that pain deep inside of you that has tormented you for years. You’ve pursued so many things to find relief, but the pain remains. Your soul longs for something that you just can’t seem to find.

You’ve resisted prayer, hesitated to reach out to Jesus. You’ve heard the stories of lives transformed and people changed by faith in Jesus. Yet there are those who tell you not to believe what you hear.

The years have passed and the pain persists, the longing to have your heart healed, to finally find the peace you seek. It’s a small gesture, but you extend your hand. Perhaps just a touch, just a small effort to reach out and see what happens.

For she was saying to herself, “If I only touch His garment, I will get well.” – Matthew 9:21, NASB
