You carried me, Lord, through the dark times in my life. When I lay by the roadside beaten down, injured, unable to move, you were there. You picked me up and carried me to safety. You dressed my wounds and nurtured me back to health. When I was worn out, unable to take another step, you came by my side and gave me a drink of living water. You refreshed my soul. You walked with me each slow step forward until I regained my stride. From my first breath, you have always been by my side. Give me the courage and strength to continue to follow you and the path you have laid before me.

Amen. Chris, your prayer opens a channel filled with light into the Father’s grace. We are strengthened when we step into life’s wilderness.
The wilderness journeys in my life have strengthened my faith and trust in God. As Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 12:9: “And He has said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.’” Thanks for the comment. Blessings.
