Energy drinks are designed to give you a boost when you’re tired, but they do not last and are no substitute for a good night’s sleep. No matter how hard we try to avoid it, we will grow tired and lose strength. It’s unavoidable. Even the best athletes tire out and need to rest. But not so with God.
“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired (Isaiah 40:28, NASB).” As humans, it’s hard to comprehend never being weary or tired. Life often wears us out, throwing trials at us that physically and emotionally exhaust us. Even the most dedicated friend has limits on their ability to help in times of need.
God is an eternal font of support, always there; never tiring. “He gives strength to the weary, And to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly (Isaiah 40:29-30).” You can turn to God anytime without concern for burdening Him, or that he’ll become tired of hearing your worries. Tell Him what’s on your mind and heart. Share your troubles with Him.
Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary. – Isaiah 40:31, NASB
Amen. God’s renewing grace offers our faith a timely rest.
Praise God for His love and grace! Blessings.
