Dear Jesus, each season of life brings with it new challenges. Sometimes those challenges roll in like a spring thunderstorm with violent velocity that pounds with pouring rain, and a fierce wind that knocks me down. I lay on the ground in the aftermath of that storm, soaked and chilled to the bone, unable to move. In my tears, I see you dear Jesus, standing against the wind and rain. In this season and all the seasons of my life, you have been there; a rock, a fortress. Your love for me has never changed. Deepen my faith in you dear Jesus. Help me to embrace you and your ways. Help me to trust in you and your will for my life. May I find hope in your reassuring peace.
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 8:38-39 (NASB)
Amen! God is there with us through all the storms!
Praise God for his steadfast love for us! Blessings.
Amen, I have discovered that there is nothing more precious than God’s promises in my storms!
Amen! Thanks for sharing that. Blessings.
Amen! In my own life, clinging to the mercy that can only come from a true Savior, brings me through the storm.
Amen! He can can bring calm to the storms that enter our life. “And He said to them, “Where is your faith?” They were fearful and amazed, saying to one another, “Who then is this, that He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him?”- Luke 8:25
Thanks for the comment. Blessings.
As I have been reflecting and writing on faith, my journey will move to Luke’s verse. Blessings Chris for sharing the Word.
