Lord, by your hand, by your grace, you have rescued me. In your infinite love, you saw fit to make yourself known to me. You coaxed me from an awareness of your son Jesus, to a personal relationship with him. Thank you for placing people in my life who mentored me, who patiently taught me about scripture, about the salvation that Jesus offers. I praise you that my heart was softened to accept you. I do not understand why you have given me this gift, not just of eternal life, but this gift of knowing a peace that surpasses all understanding. You are gracious dear God. I praise you this day for your love and grace.
