Those who love Your law have great peace, And nothing causes them to stumble. – Psalm 119:165 (NASB)
There is something about this verse that is very compelling. It expresses contentment and confidence. To love God’s law, to desire to follow Him and His way is to know His peace. God’s law is designed to give us life to the fullest. To be under His law is to be under His protection.
To follow God’s way, His design for our life, is to not stumble. His law will help us not to get tripped up on things that can cause us to fall. Even if we do make mistakes that cause us fall, he is a steady hand that can pull us up and set us right on firm ground.

Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.” – Matthew 7:24-27 (NASB)
Therefore, strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble, and make straight paths for your feet, so that the limb which is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed. – Hebrews 12:12-13
Amen! When we walk with God, His safety net of grace forgives our missteps, and His love does the rest.
Praise God for His love and grace.
