I wait for things to change, but it continues with more of the same. When will it end? I lift up my prayers. I plead with God, but he tells me, “Do you trust me?” It gives me pause. Do I trust God to act in His time? Do I trust that he is in control? Do I trust His wisdom?

Oooph. Sometimes it is really hard to trust. And you’re right. God always wants us to trust Him more.

This one hits close to home today, brother Chris. Someone I love dearly continues to make poor decisions that negatively impact their life. Essentially, they’ve worn out their welcome with those who matter most. I continue to pray, knowing God cares too, but even He doesn’t force his will on others.
