This morning I think of my mom in your presence dear Lord, yet I grieve that she is gone from our midst. I pray this grief I feel will remind me of being separated from you dear God. May my heart long for your presence. May that feeling guide me with your wisdom. Help me to nurture a longing for you dear Lord in the hearts of others. May your light shine through me to show others the hope you give. I pray this morning for others who grieve the loss of loved ones. May they find hope in Jesus — the hope of eternal life with you dear God. Fill them with your peace.
