All in this life is passing away. Nothing will stand forever. Yet you dear Lord are eternal, steadfast, forever standing. In you I can put my hope, my trust, my life. You are the mighty fortress that stands the test of time. Adversaries have come and gone. Empires have risen and fallen. Yet you dear Lord remain firm. Your Kingdom does not fail. Help me to not be distracted by false forms of strength in this world. Help me to rely on you dear God and your strength. May my hope be in you. Even though struggles may surround me, help me to remain focused on you dear Lord. You are eternal, my eternal hope.
