May you this day dear Lord, call out to those who are faithful to you. May they hear your voice to respond to the hurting. May they have eyes to see the pain in others. May they have ears to hear the cries of pain. Give them discernment to bring compassion to those ready for your healing. Equip them with the words, the actions to bring eternal healing to those crying out for relief. May the balm of your gospel message soothe the tired soul. May it bring strength and calm in the midst of the storm.
Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then is there no healing for the wound of my people. – Jeremiah 8:22 (NIV)

Thank you for surrounding so many with this excellent universal prayer. One can tell you care a great deal about God’s people.
Praise God for the love and grace he showers upon us! Blessings.
you have penned my prayer…I pray to be use of God to help someone on my journey. So many have helped me in my walk with Him…we so need each other.
Amen. I am so grateful to the many people who have invested in my faith journey. Thanks for reminding me about those special people. Blessings.
Today I’ve straddled that uncomfortable line between reaching out with Love and God’s Truth…and being respectful, not “pushy”. We know what the thirsty need, but we can’t make them drink from the Lord’s hands…
This seems to be a daily struggle for me as well. I have learned to wait on the Lord. The Spirit of God is at work in people and when he has prepared them, when they truly want to hear, he places his people there to speak. I pray that at those opportune times I am ready to speak the words placed on my heart by the Spirit of God. Sometimes this means saying a few words to a stranger! When guilt or selfish means motivate me, the result is not good. I have had some amazing experiences when I answered God’s call to interact with someone — situations I was often skeptical about. God continues to humble me. My prayers are with you. Thanks for the comment. Blessings.
Thank you for your prayers, needed and appreciated! I have a wonderful memory of praying with a stranger in the grocery store, years ago–I never saw him again, but have to believe God used my courageous faith to minister well. Blessings to you ❤
Amen!
Blessings.
May we all feel His love and peace as it surrounds of this day.
