What seeds are you sowing in the lives of people you encounter each day. The fruit you see will tell you what type of seed was sown. “Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control…(Galatians 5:22-23, NASB);” this is the fruit of sowing seeds of the Spirit.
The seeds of the flesh bear fruit that stands in stark contrast to the Spirit: “immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing…(5:19-21).”
Ask yourself what you see in your interactions with other people. Which fruit do you see present itself and consider how those seeds were sown? Then determine how you can sow more of the seeds of the Spirit into the lives of others.
For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. – Galatians 6:8, NASB
