Prayer Help

There are times in life when we feel so overwhelmed that it is difficult to find the words to pray. Yet God knows our need. He never leaves our side. Paul reminds us in Romans 8:26: “In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words (NASB).”

Even with that, sharing our needs with others is also important. As the body of Christ, we share in the joys and sorrows of life. Paul reminds us that in Christ we are one body: “And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it (1 Corinthians 12:28).”

When we share our struggles, pains, and hurts with each other, we help each other carry the burden of suffering. Together, we can lift up our prayers to God and seek to be closer to Him. Together, as believers in Jesus, we can strengthen one another in the faith.

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. – Romans 8:28, NASB
