Prayer Journey— A Pure Moment

For this moment dear God, at this very minute, fill me with a sense of your image of me and what you see in me. Free me from the past and all its opinions that have torn me down; beat me down; taken away my confidence. In this moment fill me with a strong sense of your presence so only you and your righteousness are visible. Give me a strong sense of you dear Jesus standing next to me; a place where no one remains to judge me. Show me your grace, your love that suffered for me to free me from sin. Fill me with an understanding of your deep love for me. Tear down the walls the world constructs to separate you from me. Silence the worldly voices that fill me with doubt, insecurity, and a poor self image. Help me, in this moment, to see you clearly; see you purely as who you are dear Jesus and who I am in you. Make this a pure moment that lasts a lifetime.

Straightening up, Jesus said to her, “Woman, where are they? Did no one condemn you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on sin no more.” – John 8:10-11 (NASB)

I am thankful that our Lord and Savior is not like man.
