Viewing Life in Panorama

The other day I was taking a picture of a sunset and I could not capture all the brilliant colors splashed across the sky in the frame. So I switched the camera to panorama mode and filled the frame with the sky and setting sun. It made me think about how sometimes we have a narrow view of God.

Do we fully appreciate how God is in everything we see, hear, touch, taste and smell? He not only created the world, but he created you and me. He knows every little detail about you, all your worries, joys and accomplishments. He is there in the sunset as well as your life.

If your view of God is limited to a narrow piece of your life, you are missing out on the full view of a life in Christ Jesus. You will only get the narrow view of life this world gives you. You will invest in temporal things that do not last instead of eternal things. Widen your view of God and let Him frame your entire life.

But the seed in the good soil, these are the ones who have heard the word in an honest and good heart, and hold it fast, and bear fruit with perseverance. – Luke 8:15

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.  John 1:1-3, NASB

Let God’s promises give you a panoramic view of life.
