Finding Release From Your Burdens

What does it mean to feel release, to have the burdens that weigh us down released from us? What does it mean to feel freedom from the guilt that burdens us? What does it mean to release ourselves from the expectations of others and embrace who God created us to be? What does it mean to find release from worry about the future and embrace the present? What does it mean to be released?

Jesus pointed the way to what it means to be released from the troubles we face in this world: “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30, NASB).”

Jesus offers us rest for our weary soul. He understands your burdens and wants you to learn from Him. He is a gentle and humble teacher who walks with you each step of the way. He will give you release and the rest you seek if you truly seek Him. Release starts with the release of ourselves and our burdens into the arms of Jesus.
