Sunday Honor

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The moon and the stars, which You have ordained;
What is man that You take thought of him,
And the son of man that You care for him?
Yet You have made him a little lower than God,
And You crown him with glory and majesty! – Psalm 8:3-5 (NASB)

  1. Other translations “When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, The moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, And hast crowned him with glory and honour.”

    1. This is such a great passage. May we experience God’s grace and love today and share that with others. May we see how much he values us and help others to see that. May we always hunger for God’s word and a deeper relationship with Jesus. Blessings.

  2. This is one of my favorite passages in Psalms, Chris. The “When I consider….and what is man?” bookends reveal the creative power, sovereignty, and overall AWESOMENESS of our Heavenly Father.
    God’s best to you, brother.
