Prayer Journey—Instrument

Lord Jesus, make me an instrument of your peace. In a world full of so much turmoil, help me to reflect your peace. May I not be drawn into senseless conflicts that distract from your purposes dear God. Help me to bring your love, your peace, your righteousness to those caught in turmoil. Dear Lord, calm the storms that seek to engulf me. May I trust you and your ways dear God, even when I don’t understand. May I lean on you dear Jesus to guide me.

Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. – 2 Timothy 2:22-24 (NIV)
