Prayer Journey—God’s Reign

Eternal. Forever. In a world of things that don’t last, you dear God remain. From generation to generation, your reign continues as empires rise and fall. Across the millennia, you have remained steadfast and true, offering your grace and the gift of salvation through Jesus. You are everlasting to everlasting. There is nothing that comes close to your greatness, glory, or majesty. I knell before you this day, your servant, humbled by your presence—humbled that you would call upon me to serve you. Help me to see what you see in me. Fill me with your confidence. Empty me of the false identity and burdens the world lays on me. You are sovereign dear God. Give me clarity of your will, your purpose for my life. I praise you dear Lord, King of Kings, Lord of all.

David praised the LORD in the presence of the whole assembly, saying,
“Praise be to you, LORD,
the God of our father Israel,
from everlasting to everlasting.
Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power
and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
for everything in heaven and earth is yours.
Yours, LORD, is the kingdom;
you are exalted as head over all. – 1 Chronicles 29:10-11 (NIV)

  1. Amen! When one prays with the same conviction as David, this blessed prayer relationship with our Father’s grace will continue to mature before each heart.
