Dear God, you are eternal. I am temporal. Yet you offer me eternal life through your son Jesus. No status, no position, no power on this earth can compare to your eternal power and the hope you give. Everything on this earth will pass away, but you reign forever and ever. Teach me your righteousness. Fill me with your wisdom so I do not fall prey to the deception of the evil one.
