You are my refuge dear Lord. Yet there are those I know who refuse to listen to you. They turn their backs on you and chose to remain in the midst of the evil outside your refuge. They remain deceived, thinking security and safety is outside your fortress. I beckon them to join me, to experience the joy of being In your presence, to know peace that only you can provide, but my words go unheard. All my efforts to reach them are futile. Yet my prayers continue. Each day I pray they would see you clearly, know you, and reach out to you dear God. Help me to trust in you dear God and the power of your Spirit to change hearts.
I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust! For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper And from the deadly pestilence. – Psalm 91:2-3 (NASB)
Amen! God’s grace waits within His refuge. May we continue praying for others to join us there.
Yes, may we continue to pray for them. Blessings.
Like you, Chris, “Each day I pray [I] would see you clearly, know you, and reach out to you dear God.” I can’t control what “they” do… but I sure need to manage my own daily reaching!!
Good point. We need to be intentional in reaching out to God and the hope he offers. Blessings.
The word for today … a good one: intentionality!!
Amen
Blessings.
