In the quiet moment, in the stillness, you are there. When all is turned off, all the excess noise of life, there you are quietly waiting for me to listen. When all the distractions are shut down and kept at a distance; when there is only you and I dear God in the early morning, your voice is evident. Help me dear God to find those times of solitude, those moments when your presence is evident. Help me to hear you clearly, to listen to the words you speak to me. May my heart warmly receive you. May I seek you first each day.
