I cannot begin to tell you dear Lord how humbled I am by the way you revealed your purposes last week. You reminded me that your ways are not always apparent, that you have higher purposes in mind. You showed me how you can reach people through me in very unexpected ways. Help me to continue to trust you dear God; to follow your lead; to listen to your prompt to act. Deepen my faith as I seek to shape my life around your purposes. May I have eyes to see you at work. Give me a sense of wonder and possibility at what you can do in seemingly impossible situations. I praise you this day for your love and grace.
Thus says God the LORD, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread out the earth and its offspring, Who gives breath to the people on it And spirit to those who walk in it, – Isaiah 42:5 (NASB)
Amen! I could easily make this prayer my own.
May we continue to be amazed by God; humbled by His desire to reach people in unexpected ways. Blessings.
May you be blessed in your obedience
The challenge for me is to seize the opportunities God presents — to lay aside myself and my desires to let His Spirit work through me. Blessings.
Amen! And may I see you even when I am busy with work and help me to see the job I am doing through your eyes Lord.
Amen! Yes, may we be ever vigilant of God at work around us. Blessings.
Amen! Thanks for sharing this prayer. As God deepens our faith, we understand His purpose even more clearly.
Well said. God’s purposes become our purposes. Blessings.
I LOVE when God lets me see how He reveals Himself / His purposes / His way! Such a blessing for you – thanks for sharing.
Yes, it is a blessing. So often we never see the fruit of God’s purpose as we sow seeds for the Kingdom of God. Reminds me of 1 Corinthians 3:7: “So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth.” Blessings.
I am happy to hear of this wonderful affirmation to you from the Lord, Chris. 🙏May our Heavenly Father continue to bless your ministry to others. Thank you for your consistent, always encouraging, blog ministry. As you like to say, blessings!
Thank you for your encouragement. Blessings to you this day.
