Prayer Journey — Where?

Where can I go dear Lord without you? Your words are life giving. Your truth is eternal. Your hope is everlasting. Your Spirit guides me in a world filled with treachery. You are my creator. Each breath I take, each moment of my life is because of you. You have blessed me beyond reason; given me more than I deserve; sacrificed your son to save me from my own demise. Who else is there to turn to but you dear God. You are worthy of all praise. I thank you this day for this moment. I thank you for the love and grace you have given me. Thank you that I have knowledge of you; that I have your Word; that I can reach out to you. May my heart forever sing your praises.

From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him. “You do not want to leave too, do you?” Jesus asked the Twelve. Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.” – John 6:66-69 (NIV)

  1. “I have not left you comfortless; I will come to you,” says God. It is reassuring to know that God did not create the world and then walk away. “Every morning His mercies are new.” Thank you, for your encouraging words, brother. Blessings!
