They attack your Word dear God, declaring it false. They attack me for following your truth, showering me with false accusations to discredit you dear Lord. At times the fiery darts are many, flying at me in a fierce array that seeks to destroy me. As I crouch in fear, you raise the shield of faith in front of me. You remind me of your power over evil, that your Word has power. Under your wing; behind your fortress; beneath your shield; there is safety in you. In my faith in you dear God and your Word, I find refuge. You extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. They fizzles out when they strike the shield of faith. They are smothered by your truth and rendered useless. I praise you dear God for the power of your Word.
