Help me dear Lord to be content with what you have given me in this life. May the struggles I face not consume me and make me envious of those who seem to not face challenges. I pray any discontent, disappointment, or discouragement will not place a wedge between me and you dear God. Do not let the evil one leverage my discontent into hatred or jealousy. Teach me to be content with what you have blessed me with in this life. You have given me so much. I give up my feelings of envy to you. Show me how to bear the fruit of your Spirit dear God.
