Prayer Journey — Gracious God

Then the LORD passed by in front of him and proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth; – Exodus 34:6 (NASB)

Your mere presence dear God emanates grace. You pursue me with your love and kindness. Even though I do not deserve your grace, you extend it to me. You are a compassionate teacher, patiently instructing me in your truth. At times your lessons seem too hard to complete, but you coax me along with your words of assurance. You know me better than I know myself. Your wisdom is far superior to any on earth. You gently encourage me, lifting me up when I stumble; searching for me when I wander from your path; guiding me in your way. I praise you this day, dear God!

  1. Amen. God is intimately involved: in the lives of His children, and in the course of this world. He didn’t “wind up” the universe and walk away. I’m so glad our creator is loving, patient, and kind! God’s best to you, CG.
