Prayer Journey — Companion God

A father of the fatherless and a judge for the widows, Is God in His holy habitation. God makes a home for the lonely; He leads out the prisoners into prosperity, Only the rebellious dwell in a parched land. – Psalm 68:5-6 (NASB)

I pray this morning for those who suffer in solitude, longing for companionship. I pray that they would see you clearly dear Lord. May they know your presence and feel your loving hand upon their life. Help them to remember that you have made a home for them, that you welcome them with loving arms. When others reach out to them, may they feel your love dear God. May your love overwhelm the pain they feel that stops them from responding; from reaching out to others. May they see the life offered by your son Jesus. Suppress the deception that seeks to divert them from you dear God. May their parched soul be filled to overflowing with your living water.

And immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he regained his sight, and he got up and was baptized; and he took food and was strengthened. Acts 9:18-19

  1. Many people are feeling alone, even when they are surrounded by other people. May God help us to be aware of others and reach out.

  2. Amen, CG. Despite our super-connected society, there are many who feel totally alone. They share their cultivated selves on social media, but the hollow feeling remains. Who loves the real me? God offers that kind of love. And He’s already sent us a “friend request” in the form of His son-Jesus Christ. 🙏❤️prayers and love.
