Prayer Journey — What is my Purpose?

Then Job answered the LORD and said, “I know that You can do all things, And that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted (Job 42:1-2, NASB)

You dear Lord can do all things. You created everything. You are intentional. Your purposes are righteous. Who can stand in the way of your will? I am but a humble sinner standing before you, yet I try to exert myself upon your will. I attempt to make my own way, diverting myself from your path for my life; falling prey to the diversions of the world. Forgive me for the times I have wandered in the wilderness, losing sight of you. Strengthen me with your wisdom and insight to see your purpose for my life. Even though you created my ability to think, to reason, I cannot fully understand you and your ways. I humbly fall before you dear Lord and seek your grace, your guidance, your purpose.

‘Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’ “Therefore I have declared that which I did not understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.” ‘Hear, now, and I will speak; I will ask You, and You instruct me.’ “I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear; But now my eye sees You; Therefore I retract, And I repent in dust and ashes (Job 42:3-6).”
