There are people I think of this morning who are fervently searching for You dear God. Yet they reject and dismiss your truth, falling prey to the deception of lies that try to divert people from your truth. I pray that your Word, your truth, would rise up and convict them. May they see your grace, your love, your hope. May they sense the peace you give — the peace they so desperately seek. I pray they would open their hearts to you and see your goodness — that their lives would be transformed by your truth. Give them a glimpse of the eternal hope you offer through Jesus.

Now the parable is this: the seed is the word of God. My Bible study group was just talking about evangelism. Of course, it’s up to God to convict, but we need to do our part to share the Gospel as well. And each little bit of our heartfelt testimony – God can use that in the journey of those we tell.
