Prayer Journey — Continuum of Care

For years now I have prayed. My prayers have not ceased and yet I do not see the results I want. Yet I see your gentle hand, your caring touch upon the lives I earnestly pray for; lives I long to see transformed to you dear God. You are teaching me your wisdom, your long term plan; your patience. You are not about quick, temporal fixes, but lasting change. You know my heart, my thoughts, my struggles. You know the pain I feel. When I cry out to you, “How much longer dear God?” You respond, “As long as it takes.” Thank you for listening to my prayers, my pleas for change. Thank you for the love and grace you show me. I praise you this day dear God.

Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD by ceasing to pray for you; but I will instruct you in the good and right way. 1 Samuel 12:23 (NASB)

  1. Amen! Your words of prayer encourage us to remain faithful in our conversations with the Father. At the same time, lift up praises for His patience and goodness.
