Prayer Journey — Life Giver

The sun sets, marking the end of another day; adding another day to my life. As darkness sets in, I reflect on you dear Lord Jesus — how you bring light to dark places; hope to hopeless situations. You are the giver of life. Every breath I take is a gift from you. Each day of life is a gift. My life is in your hands. I only have the illusion that I’m in control. Help me to seek your wisdom, your truth, your way each day. Lead me along your path. Thank you for the days you have given me in this earth, for your blessings on my life. Thank you for the grace you have shown me in patiently teaching me your Word; helping me to grow in my faith. May I continue to praise you dear God for each new day; for the life you have given me.
