Prayer Journey — Who Am I?

I am not self made, I am God made. All that I am, the whole of who I am right now, is because of God’s hand. Every event that has occurred in my life is because you allowed it to happen. It has all shaped me — molded me into who I am right now at this moment. I do not understand the why of so many things, but I know who you are dear God. You are the creator of all things. You are righteous, full of love and grace for your people. You are holy and just. I praise you this day for who you are and for sending your son Jesus to redeem us. Help me to rest in who I am in you.

Know that the LORD Himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. – Psalm 100:3 (NASB)

  1. Beautiful. Yes, to rest in who we are in Him. 💕
As I “put on the armor,” when I get to “having my feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace,” I pray that I’ll go where He wants me to go, encounter the people He wants me to encounter, and speak the words He wants me to say, knowing that I can stand firm in the gospel of peace – and rest in the peace of the gospel.

  2. Amen. We indeed are God made a s even though we may not understand many things, God had a reason for their happenings. I needed this today.
