Prayer Journey — Laying Aside Worry

There are so many worries in this world. Yet you tell me dear God to lay my worries at your feet — into your very capable hands. You encourage me to do so as an offering of faith and trust in you dear God. It is an act of humbling myself before you and admitting my inability to control an unknown future; an act of believing you are God of heaven and earth, omnipotent and omnipresent. You are my hope dear God, my salvation. Help me to release my worries and be in this moment, in your presence. I give you praise this day.

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” – Matthew 6:33-34 (NASB)
