Your timing is perfect dear Lord. Yet I am impatient. I want hearts transformed. I want people to know you. I want their anger replaced by your joy. Yet you tell me to wait; to trust; to have faith in your ways. You are my rock, my fortress. You are my confidant. Your wisdom surpasses my understanding. Help me to wait on you dear God.

I waited patiently for the LORD; And He inclined to me and heard my cry. He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, And He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; Many will see and fear And will trust in the LORD. – Psalm 40:1-3 (NASB)
Amen! Our Father is the master teacher, and His lessons in showing us how to be patient fill many verses in the Bible.
I’m grateful he’s a patient teacher. Praise God for His love and grace. Thanks for commenting. Blessings.
Amen – may God help me to wait on him too! This is not easy, but God knows best. Thank you for sharing. God bless
It is hard to wait on God, but yes, he does know best. Thanks for commenting. Blessings.
Amen, brother.
Blessings.
Waiting for God is never a wasted enterprise. Moving ahead without Him only makes things worse. Your thoughts today reminded me of when Jesus told the disciples to wait in Jerusalem until the Holy Spirit came upon them.
Thank you for your consistent blog ministry. As you say, blessings!
I have to agree, getting ahead of God doesn’t go well. The disciples waiting… That’s a great example. Thanks for the comment. Blessings.
