I gaze back at all my years and see your hand upon my life. You were there, present to carry me along. You guided me from young on. At times I did not listen and went my own way, but you remained dear God. You did not abandon me. You sought me when I didn’t seek you. You cared for me even when I felt abandoned. This morning I praise you for your steadfast love, your grace. You are truly my God, my savior, my salvation.
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 8:38 (NASB)
