The thought persists: “Where would I be without the Word of God?” It penetrates to the deepest parts of my soul. Your word, your scripture is the source of truth, wisdom and life. Without it, I would only have temporal, changing words — the whims of humanity to live by. You are steadfast, eternal, a refuge dear God. You are a mighty fortress that will not fall. Your word speaks creation into existence. You speak life into my very existence. Your word is life. Thank you for you eternal love and grace.
