New Year, New Hope

For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. – Jeremiah 29:11 (NASB)

May this New Year fill us with hope and restore our soul with living water that is offered to us by Jesus.

Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.” – John 4:13-14

May we remember in our darkest moments that God overcomes, filling the void with His light.

The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. – Genesis 1:2-4

  1. God fills the void with His light in our darkest moments. This statement could be my personal testimony. I have been to rock bottom, CG. I survived because Jesus is the ROCK of AGES!

    1. Praise God for lighting our way; for his love and grace! Indeed, he is a rock, steadfast in a world of shifting sand. Thanks for the comment. Blessings.
