In this moment I reflect on the year past and the year to be. So much uncertainty between what was and what is to be, yet I look to the new year with new hope. Through it all, through my entire life, you have remained constant. You have been a mighty fortress in the heat of battle, a place for me to find refuge. In a shaken world, you are the rock, a solid foundation that cannot be shaken. When others flee, I flee to you for you are steadfast. Your love and grace are infinite, everlasting. You do not stop loving me despite my faults. You crafted me. You know me. You are my God. Thank you for reaching into my life, for reaching into humanity to send your son Jesus to save us. I humbly praise you this day dear God.
