Prayer Journey —Light my Way

I am surrounded by darkness dear Lord. Night blinds me. I listen. I hear voices. I seek your wisdom dear God. “Please illumine my path!” Then I see a small flame within a lantern. It glows bright. It is unmistakable. A flame pure and bright. An ever present light never extinguished. “Take up my light,” I hear a gentle, loving voice say. I grasp the lantern and hold it tight. It illumines my path and dispels the darkness.
