It seems Lord the more I know you, the more I know about myself and my sinful heart. I feel as if I can never measure up to your standard dear God. I feel woefully inadequate to serve you. Yet it is not me and my efforts, but it is Christ Jesus within that strengthens me. It is through you dear Jesus that I am redeemed, not by my own feeble efforts to be good. Your grace is sufficient. It is all I need. Strengthen my faith, my resolve to follow you dear Lord. Help me to focus on you and not get overwhelmed by my weaknesses. Continue to help me grow in my love of you dear Lord.
